Awesome man. What are the dimensions of that 225? 72 x 30 x 24?
When spelled out in text ... you know ... like in a forum, Surely is closer to "Surly" than "Shirley." GRRRR.I was hoping someone would tell me not to call them Shirley!
I hear you, I don't have a 6' x 5' x 20" acrylic tank because I love acrylicYep, I woulda prefered a 24 wide and 30 or even 36 high, but when you find a sweet deal on a used starphire tank you can't be too picky.
Love-hate relationship. You no like the blue cloves?
Depends....I also don't think the power difference for DC pumps is going to be enough to make a difference in your wallet...
Depends.
I did the math with mine. I could save 80 watts, which at my power tier is $200 per year.
Not huge, but noticeable, and pays for the pumps in one year.
The reason I have not switched is reliability concerns.
