DBTC: Sprung's Burning Bush

Hard to say exactly how much growth I have, since I look at everything on a daily basis, but I would say I have somewhere around 10% growth. Mainly looks more dense with more folds. Ideally I would like to have my frag doubled in size and give out frags equal in size to what I received, but if anyone is itching to get a piece, I do have a smaller frag

Mine is growing now. In my experience it seems to do better under a more standard, or blue, spectrum than when it was under a pink/red refugium light.

Anyone else having that, or maybe it was a coincidence things got better after I moved it?

100%.

Red algae tend to like bluer light is what I heard. All of mine grows in my display only

I have the same experience- I switched out the refugium light over the burning bush to a regular spectrum reef light just because it looks nicer, and also saw better growth after doing so

I gave a frag to @DaddyHook today.

Time for condolences, I lost a frag.

My tuxedo doesn’t eat it, just wears it, tearing it up in the process. It seems to be on its way out in my tank as well. Which is unfortunate - while I don’t need to carpet my tank with the stuff, I do still want a piece here or there

Maybe i need an urchin hat to occupy him with

It's too busy eating the fresh bryopsis on the clear areas ;)
