What kind of urchin is it? I've got a Caribbean black rock urchin (Arbacia sp.) that doesn't touch it at all.My urchin too...
100%.Mine is growing now. In my experience it seems to do better under a more standard, or blue, spectrum than when it was under a pink/red refugium light.
Anyone else having that, or maybe it was a coincidence things got better after I moved it?
I have the same experience- I switched out the refugium light over the burning bush to a regular spectrum reef light just because it looks nicer, and also saw better growth after doing soMine is growing now. Use your spare kessil or radion in the sump. These burning red bush love blue or full spectrum. I can give you some before my rabbitfish eats them allUrchin found it and went to town. Until I get some lights for my sump I'm going to hold off
My tuxedo doesn’t eat it, just wears it, tearing it up in the process. It seems to be on its way out in my tank as well. Which is unfortunate - while I don’t need to carpet my tank with the stuff, I do still want a piece here or there
