It's been a while since I have been on the forum, but a reefer I know has a Diamond Watchman Goby that is not really eating and very emaciated. He has had the goby for a year or more with no new additions. Any ideas what it is, or what can be done to treat it? The reefer describes the fish as "skeleton"

Thanks!

If it eats...there is hope
And if it does eat...does it poop?
If it’s so emaciated I’ll guess internal parasites and probable goner
I do hope I’m wrong...
Good luck to the fish

I had the same issue with my yellow tang. Twice. Was well fed, then got very skinny, brought her to Kenny, he saved her, some time later it happened again, no seaweed, no LRS, no PE mysis.

My wife fed her patiently her favorite food, i.e., seaweed pellets which she started eating tiny amounts over weeks until she was ready to eat the other food again. Now almost chubby looking :).

Root cause, bullying from the borb anthias is my suspicion, but she never confirmed.
