eBay scam?

I just bought an external hard drive from ebay and I'm starting to think it's a scam. What do you think? Link for the hard drive is below.

I tried Googling ebay scams and I did not see a scam regarding this method. It's in China, but feeedback is good and I paid with PayPal. I've bought stuff from China like iPhone cables, etc. and no problems. If you have link on this kind of scam, I would appreciate it.

Red flags are:
1. Ludicrously low item price
2. All items are listed as private
3. Seller's other items are taken down and re-listed every day

Good luck!

Note that the box looks very different from the US version.
My guess : Legit, but probably an Asian market factory second.
Defect could be a blemish, a few too many bad sectors, or who knows.
Test it well when you get it.
Probably not a good idea to put critical data on it.

I'm with David, that's a pretty low price for a 3TB drive. Gus' picture was the scam I was thinking of. It says eBay protection, although I'm not sure how useful that is as I've never used it. It might be one of those things that they simply put that as a graphic on the page and they really don't have any eBay protection.

Since you already paid for it,, your best bet now is to simply start researching what your outs are through ebay/paypal. Stuff from China usually ships via freighter anyways, so could take 2-3 weeks to get here.
