Favorite step stool or stepladder?

I like the Little Giant steps tools...built like a rock and folds up when not in use..most importantly, they're solid when extended properly and give you a steady base to work from.

If it's OSHA approved it'll do! We have the same at work..if it'll support my 6' frame with a horrible center of gravity, that's some magical stuff lol

Lots of options with pros and cons.

Since you have a rimless tank, a stepladder with a bucket (yellow thing) to keep tools and frags on is handy. I have and use this step ladder for general housework too and the bucket is very useful.

If a bucket isn't needed, a work platform is nice so that you don't have to keep moving the stepladder side to side. My tank is in the dining area which has a dining bench, so similar to the work platform. I use this to do my maintenance

Update:

Ended up going with the an Ace Hardware work platform like this and a $30 Costco stepladder. Both work great!

A sturdy 3rd step is important if the top of your tank is at 6'6"

So I added a taller one. These are my two, I love the left one for everything except when I need the right one.

Thats a really great deal but only at 12 inches wide would feel like Im walking a plank under my big feet. They do make 18-20 inches wide ones where buckets of water are a bit more stable which I use..
