A little idea how large some of these pieces are.

I'm thinking of using cement pavers as a base for the aquascaping. Although, I think cinder blocks might be easier to drill into for rods and zip ties. Any thoughts ?

Did you contact Sanjay yet about the pavers? I hope not, I just emailed him asking

Sanjays has sand.

Even if he didn't, his flow is high enough and managed enough very little would collect. The amount of forethought he put into hi system vastly reduced problems like that.

He said he replied to you? Maybe he just did that?

He didn't cure his.

I just got a message from Sanjay Joshi saying it's okay to use them. He mentioned he did not cure the pavers when he placed them in the 500 gallon Penn State reef tank. I plan to use sand with an open rockscape and lots of flow...so it doesn't look like a big frag tank.

Looks good Jim...i didnt realize how big and how much rock i had till i pulled it out of my tank. If you need more powerheads for cooking them LMK..i think i can dig up a couple more..

Thanks Patrick...about half the rock I got from you are large pieces with the rest being medium and a few small. Also, those 2 seio's you gave me are plenty.

Did you checkout the new sfiligio vision "plasma fixture" ? It would look sweet on your Cad Cube.

How exciting-- you have live rocks! Looking forward to seeing more photos of the tank progress. Is the home inspection finished?

Almost, I have a few electrical things, etc. to finish. I have a finish guy coming out next week to get a price on trimming out the tank. Once I finish final inspection, you'll see alot more action on the tank. ;)

My friend Ethan helped me run some double wall duct to my solar attic fan. I'll be installing a panasonic whisper quite fan which will be controlled by a thermostat I bought from Jon (Jar).
