Gimmito's 450 gal L-shaped tank

Or multiple times per day!
Because it was my first time doing it and I didn't know anything, I was really scared initially and apprehensive.
I thought managing the Cu level was going to be tough.
Well, much to the opposite.
My Cu levels never dropped substantially since I reached 0.5ppm
I don't have anything in the QT tank though. The only thing I have is a pipe for the fish to hide, a powerhead and a hang-on-back filter for bacteria to grow.
It took me at least 3 days to get to 0.5ppm, just because I was scared to overdose. So I just went with 1/3 of what the bottle said and I just kept adding to it slowly.
When I did a water change, I mixed water and added the Cu, with much more confidence of how much was needed and got it to 0.5ppm and just did a water change as normal.
Levels are still good to me.
I've heard that powder blue would be sensitive to Cu, but this little guy doesn't seem to mind. I think his appetitte even increased and he's eating even more than before... lol
We even created a bond and he eats off of my hands now :)
Well, he's been watching me work all day for 2 months or more, he's gotta have some trust on me by now.

Jeremy (Tuberider) was kind enough to swing by and hook up my Geo 612 and dial in the Aquarium Plants regulator.

Thanks again Jeremy. :)

As per Ian's request...here's a pic of the Mathesen stainless steel regulator (he kindly put together for me). This thing is the Porsche of stainless steel regulators and will go on the Big Tank along w/the Geo 818 CaRx.

I have to thank Shaun of Sunlight Supply (one of our new sponsors) for recommending buying angle iron at HD for my light racks. I bought six 8' sticks of 1" angle iron and was going to rivet it, but found a welder who said he could weld the angle iron (trying to find a welder to weld aluminum has been a pain).

Here's a pic of Joe at Metalworx in Belmont in action.
