Ah missed the part about you using bacteria in a bottle. Yeah I used the MicroBactr7 stuff, seemed to work good
Yep used microbacter, dr tims, arka aquatics and the carib sea rock has some painted onto it. With the recent discovery of bacteria diversity being a fairly good thing to have I went all out on this cycle.Ah missed the part about you using bacteria in a bottle. looking forward to your final product!Tank comes tomorrow! All my other pieces besides the RFGs are in(need to double check sizing as I’ve learned waterbox is not very consistent). With the week of prep cycle I’m thinking it should be good to go for a fish after another week.
Literally showed up as you were commenting!!@The_Lazy_Reefer get your tank yet?
haha that just had me dying for real. Think I’ll have enough parThat Kessil looks like the Death Star ready to fire a beam of death right at that tiny tank
you could just dangle the light from the shelf above and run the wire across for the truly death star hovering look... and use the focus lens.... like a nem beacon -- or. the inverse of the Imagine Peace tower in Icelandhaha that just had me dying for real. Think I’ll have enough par
Then possibilities are quite limitless haha. This light does have a rather stark appearance but in a good way imoyou could just dangle the light from the shelf above and run the wire across for the truly death star hovering look... and use the focus lens.... like a nem beacon -- or. the inverse of the Imagine Peace tower in Iceland
Man I love this floating small tank on the wall..kudos!Did some prep work today so all wiring is ready to go. Tank drops on Thursday!
Ah that’s right! The A360X narrow reflector you got IS NOT what Kessil was using to beam light down like 10ft in the Lobby, those were standard photography barn doors adapted to the lights.
They did have their narrow reflector in use on the tour, it was over the small display tank in the next room over between the lobby and the large demo room.
