Oh I didn’t realize he participated in the swap. That makes senseThat might be tin. He was picking coral.so he had to enter with 3 corals also.
@coralexotic do you know what kind of hammer it was?

Broooo... that's from Tin!!!Oh I didn’t realize he participated in the swap. That makes sense
@coralexotic do you know what kind of hammer it was?
That one was actually from Tin, if it’s the one I’m thinking of. It looked like a hologram hammer to me- really nice- but Tin said it was very similar but not exactly that lineage so he didn’t want to mislead by claiming it. I was looking for it in the swap!It just says it’s a Coral Exotic Hammer. But no name of who it came from or what type of hammer besides the vendor name
Btw.. I’m not complaining lol. It’s an insanely nice hammer and healthy
Ohh ok got it. It’s a nice hammer! Thanks to Tin for not only coming as a vendor but also contributing frags to the swap! That one was actually from Tin, if it’s the one I’m thinking of. I assume this is referring to the Instagram video, which was great!WOW!!! Thanks you @Reefer Madness for helping a brotha out while I was trying to get footage of the swap!
Thank you @boun11 again for the amazing additions to the swap.

Whoever had this should worry about their tank - they grow like weed. But I still like them. I have one cut if you want it.Great event everyone!!! Thanks to all for coming out and making this club what it is!!!
I am a little bummed though. Last round I grabbed a green candy cane. When I got home it was obviously a sick coral with it's flesh just falling off. Also no name on the container.

And QR codes only I believe. First I thought this was innovative, but then it felt cumbersome to pull out the phone. There were more than several that made it past with no name. I also got a coral in one of those specimen cups without a name. Mine was a healthy coral though
@Srt4eric I also have some I can frag for you! I think I originally got them from Alexander two swaps ago at the first Brisbane swap? I can frag you a good chunkWhoever had this should worry about their tank - they grow like weed. But I still like them. I have one cut if you want it.
I didn’t see the QR codes! Kinda cool… but not for a swap where speed is importantAnd QR codes only I believe. First I thought this was innovative, but then it felt cumbersome to pull out the phone.
It wasn’t me this time haha I switched to Reefway plugsTwo of the three corals I got had the infamous reef art plug. If I can have an early birthday wish (only in December though), it would be great if we could not use them anymore. At least these corals were not encrusted so I could remove them easily.

That was the feed back I got indirectly quite a some years back when I did that, back when we were doing swaps at Chabot college, although I will say for most zoas I would have to bring out my phone "WTF is an AOI" type of stuff. That said, I did see the naming on the side of the containers for at least one of the QR codes, so I assume others had them too.And QR codes only I believe. Yes, correct, as per the post below. Corrected my post to clarify. But there are two types and I am not sure if both are reefing art - one is purple the other one is white. They seem to have all this hard plastic-type feel.
Frag plugs we should all be using for upcoming frag swaps and DBTCs
In light of the post below, I wanted to see which types and brands of frag plugs people are using or highly recommend using. https://www.bareefers.org/forum/threads/reefing-art-plugs-are-a-different-beast.37012/ I know this company came up several times and this is the one I am primarily using...www.bareefers.org

When I was doing coral check in I saw the ones with the scannable codes, but for the ones I saw they all also had the regular labels with names on the side. In my opinion trying out new approaches is great, as long as the required info is also there in the expected spot and the containers meet the rules. That was the feed back I got indirectly quite a some years back when I did that, back when we were doing swaps at Chabot college, although I will say for most zoas I would have to bring out my phone "WTF is an AOI" type of stuff. Until the day we have ultra cheap somewhat disable (or reusable) LCD/LED screens! When I was doing coral check in I saw the ones with the scannable codes, but for the ones I saw they all also had the regular labels with names on the side.
