Hello BAR!

We will be having our Q2 BOD meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 at 8:00PM. If you'd like to join the meeting vote YES so you can be included in the group DM with the Microsoft Teams meeting link the day of the meeting.

The BOD is encouraging all members to join as we discuss general club business as well as a few topics on the agenda. If you have specific topics and will be joining the meeting please list it below so I can add it to the agenda.

1. BAR club initiatives to drive BAR's mission statement: We want to hear ideas!!! List them in the comments!!!

Bay Area Reefers (BAR) is a club for reef aquarists in the San Francisco Bay Area. The primary purpose of BAR is to promote, foster, and encourage education and appreciation for the ethical husbandry and propagation of marine life.​

2. Suggestions on larger donation for reef related charity.

3. Suggestions to add more to BAR's Equipment list: Current list can be seen here: https://barcode.bareefers.org/bc/equipment

4. Next Frag Swap.

5. New Group Buy rule.

Only 6 BOD and 2 supporting members have marked they will be joining. Surprisingly low since the new group buy rule and adding more equipment to borrow have been hot topics lately. Supporting members if you would like to add any additional feedback please try to join or you can comment here.
