What’s the nem in the dedicated tank?
Never seen ones that big without them splittingColorado Sunbursts.

So natural spilts are more common with standard rbtas? Or do you think it's unique to your specific ones combined with your tank conditions?I’ve rarely had natural splits. Most of the CSBs I’ve sold in past have been cuts with the scalpel.

I’ve noticed over the years with the higher end nems. Natural splits only occur when something is stressing the nem due to instability or warfare. This is just my observationMost everything in our reef tanks is specific to our tanks. That said, many people have had tons of natural splits with CSBs and RBTAs and some not so many.
My maroons stress they heck out of mine lol no suspense why mine split.I’ve noticed over the years with the higher end nems. Natural splits only occur when something is stressing the nem due to instability or warfare. This is just my observationView attachment 60717
I’ve had this Chicago since the size of a quarter. If everything is stable. It will just grow. People use to dunk rose nems in fresh water to get them to split all the time. I think it’s a survival instinct
