Do certain coral shape requires different way to cut it? If it's like a mound, a forest (acro)...cut it at an angle to get more growth...etc., or is it just cut whatever?
gonis and other very round things are fun to cut. I cut the whole top off, as much as I want to keep, producing a smaller colony that still has a nice shape. Then I take the stump and cut little segments out of the ring of coral around the side, resulting in little squares of coral

I'm really interested in learning how to frag but don't have colonies I want to frag yet. Can I bring some extra consumables to donate to the group? Please lmk what kind or I guarantee I will buy the wrong thing.

Will bring hammer, spongodes and some forest fire to donate.

Not sure if I will make it or not yet, finished a big catering thing tonight, depends on how i feel tomorrow if I wanna try to make that drive or not.

Can I have the sump please. I’m not going to the event. Dunno if anyone lives out in sf or I can pick it up from you next week

Kind of need it gone, so if someone wants it today or doesn’t mind ferrying it to you, it’ll go to them. Otherwise, we can arrange a pickup date.

Just to let you know, it does need a little work before using.

No biggie. If someone wants it. All good. Thanks.

@Coral reefer are you going to the event. Do you have room to bring it back. If not. It’s not a big deal.

Thanks.
