Finally got some time to work on the tank.
Mock-up with regular pvc before using orange/gray

Was going to but the sump only had 1 return bulkhead. Plus the tank is in the office so....Not going two return pumps for redundancy?
lol... nope.Do they at least provide the orange and grey pvc for you?

you can always join 2 return pipes before the return bulkhead. Was going to but the sump only had 1 return bulkhead. Plus the tank is in the office so....
If the office is closed, its not going to matter since the tank is in the office. If I can get to the tank, the office being closed is not an issue. You know Murphy's law. It's gonna fail when the office is closed!
2 pumps into a single 1" bulkhead? You can only push so much water through a 1" pipe. Unless you are using a pressure rated DC pump or a high effciency AC pump, its not going to matter.you can always join 2 return pipes before the return bulkhead.
Yes, 45 reduce less flow than a 90.I’m noticing you’ve got a lot of 45° where possible rather than 90°. Will that reduce the head pressure or provide some benefit, I’m curious since I seem to always see people just using 90s.
edit: I wonder if someone makes a flow sensor that could verify that
Allows me to us a soft silicone section underneath the bulkhead and just after the output of the pump to reduce noise caused by vibration. Also helps secure the piping. What’s that bulkhead do for you anyways?
Yes, 45 reduce less flow than a 90.
Is it a requirement to use "company colors" ?lol... nope.
That compares 2 45 to 1 90. Not 1 45 vs 1 90. I’ve used 45s in as many places as I can versus using 90s and in some places 1 45 instead of 1 90.
as tested, makes no difference.
No. Personal preference. Is it a requirement to use "company colors" ?
Just a mockup. I'll put in valves and unions when I actually plumb it.Going with no unions/valves?
