Cool. I’d like to hear more! Where are you located? And is it a fridge or a freezer?
It is a fridge. I plumbed a part of the return through the fridge.

More to come soon. Just want to get the rest of the setup complete before talking much more :). Its all about the animals...not an empty tank with rock in it LOL.

I like that idea on how you mounted the electrical stuff. Is that grating metal? Nice idea on getting something in there that's easy to attach to, and also allows air flow for everything.

And 2 Red Dragon pump controllers? Good lord this is going to be a fun journey!
I used 80/20 aluminum extrusion with the heavy wire mesh. Basically a false wall that allows me to mount everything and run wires through the grating as needed. Excess wiring is tie wrapped on the back side. It also allowed me to mount things on both sides with no issue. As you mentioned, I liked it because it allows air to flow as well. Most components are mounted on 1/4" MDF that is painted black so you can't really see it. This allowed me to mount the components on the MDF while attaching the MDF to the wire mesh.

Yes. You can't see it, but there are 2 closed loops and there are outlets right at the bottom on each side.
