got ethical husbandry?

What fish for a 10 gallon frag tank?

Well, now that my frag tank is up and running smoothly (knock on wood), I think I'm ready to add a fish (or two) to it. What do you guys recommend? I've heard some type of wrasse is good for pest control. Are there any good fish that could help control algae in such a small tank?
 
I've only ever had a six line in mine... then again... it was partly because I needed to get the mean SOB out of my DT.

+ a few snails...

Mine to, he's a model citizen. My clownfish is a major asshole, the sixline is cool as 'ish
 
Mine was a friendly one too... or it could have been the fact he had two tomato clowns and a foxface that was at least 10 times the size of him :D

Haha! I have a sixline wrasse in my DT as well but he's pretty cool. He only bullies the yellow watchman goby here and there (although I think it's more of the goby being a wuss and getting scared of the sixline). Otherwise, he hangs out and is nice to my clowns.

Might have to take you up on your offer Bryan. Are 4-line wrasses any different other than appearance?

I have about 6 astrea snails in there right now with 1 hermit crab and 1 only. Don't want to add anymore hermits. What about a blenny of some sort?

I had a 4 line in a fairly small (20gal long), tank. He would make motions towards the other fish (ocellaris, royal gramma, pyjama cardinal) but everyone held their own. The gramma and the 4 line would spar the most. Neither backed down, neither got hurt. I have heard that they can be aggressive though.
 
6lines have killed 3-4" leopards, fairywrasses, flashers and other wrasses in my tanks. Same as Mystery MEAN SOB's. any of those lined wrasses.. are no no's now in my tanks.
