Our mission

Yellojello's 120

I still skim dry to semi dry with no issues. But haven't gone longer than a few weeks yet... had issue of skimmer overflowing from salt creep in air silencer. I set my micro bubble level to right below collar or bottom of it.

This is my skimmate. Would you say dry or wet?

One week of ATS running 24/7

Yea I just washed my swabbie after about a month and it was super gunky! Hmm I try to skim as dry as possible and the micro bubbles already set below neck collar. Might have to go halfway down into cone neck?

Just updated FTS. Added some rocks to the front as I had limited space for future frag placement.

Picked up quite a few SPS frags.

Replaced my Actinic Reefbrite Tech with SB Reef Sbar.

ATS is growing well, definitely reduces display algae growth.

Got tired of dipping red bug frags, so ordered some Dr G's SPS dip (same ingredients as Interceptor) to hit the entire system.

Picked up a 48x24x12 60 gallon frag tank from Matt. Will clean up and replace my 40g breeder frag tank after red bugs gone.

Nice frags! Where did you get them from?

I was thinking about getting a 302 aquatics ats. What size is that?

Frags from Tim TFP, Neptune, Reef Raft, and have Battle Corals in line next month. I need to stop. Not a good idea to upgrade the frag tank ><

The 302 ATS is the AS-2. It's way overpriced, and could build for less than $75 bucks material and lights, but was too lazy. Don't have good acrylic tools yet. Turbo Aquatics is best, but wait time is like a year still. The 302 uses warm white led's, so I dunno if it's much difference than using reds that most others use.

A 1 year waitlist for an even pricier product. Thanks for the heads up on turbo. I didn't know about them and their ATS looks pretty slick. I don't need the ats anytime soon, but who knows what I'll be doing in 1 year!

I'm not beating the red bugs by dipping each sps individually. Just dosed Dr. G's SPS dip (Same ingredient as Interceptor) (7 capfuls to about 170 gallons water, some recommend capful for every 20-30 gallons). Removed skimmer cup and airline.

Gotta remove carbon and or gfo too if you use it. And any shrimps you can catch

@Coral reefer I don't think so, but just threw it in there as a maybe?

But so far so good! This is during the day with all lights on. Turned skimmer back on at 6 pm. No carbon, no water change, will check back tomorrow.

10:21 AM (Dosed at this time)
