I would like to see a pic of the tank, but if you are growing that acro that well, I would bias towards the higher end and maybe double up the trace elements you are using per unit volume.

Sounds like you are dosing trace elements with the Balling method, tried and true. I was way low on my trace dosage for a while doing this. The Ca and Alk solution should look blue after you have enough added. How much are you adding to each?

Cuprisorb and water running in the system for a while would be my first thought.

I just bought two of these that fit into the ecotech cases but give 4x the lifetime. Requires a little soldering to make the connections but hard to beat the price per watt hour...

I kind of did this with the Fiesta Vallarta tank in downtown Los Altos. They were really happy when I was able to help, but I had to move away and the next guy who took over wasn't as good, lol. I like the idea a lot. Maybe take a few systems and set up softie tanks around different locations...

Some nice black electrical tape over the top of the clear tubing and you'll never need to clean the inside of the tube again! Also works on those pesky yellow and red dashboard lights that distract you while driving.
