Complete Bonus/Ultra Coral List - 2024 (REVISED AS OF 2/16/25)

Weeping Willow leather (Jake original, bahama llama, biota?)
Rainbow Diaseris
Acropora granulosa and lokani I think could be ultra. They're slower growers and are very nice
Icefire echinata - I don't remember if someone ended up finding some, but it definitely is in the hobby

Have we actually seen anyone with a purple monster or is that an artifact / hopeful listing?

100% just for me, but I think snake polyps deserve to be on the list too just because of how uncommon they are

All smooth skin acros are already at least bonus by default. I have a MC granulosa that grows fast enough I don’t think it makes sense to be ultra, though I think maybe some named ones could be? What did you have in mind?

The Jake Adam's one is ledgendary not even sure anyone has it, bahama llama one less rare but I've yet to learn of anyone who has either or else I would be hunting them down lol.

Also maybe add PC Rainbow Acropora to the Bonus list.
It’s a really nice acro but we just had a sizable grow out competition of it, and an excess of frags of a “wild” pc rainbow lookalike from the last swap. If you’re personally looking for some I’m sure there’s some around

A. carduus grows pretty fast, compared to granulosa and lokani which grow markedly slower and are sometimes more desirable. I think that they, like many other corals on the list, kind of slot between bonus and ultra

So up to you, it was purely my opinion that there could be a distinction

Oh missed that is this a splatter hammer?

There are definitely more than one kind of splatter. The one I have is only one type

There are others that have more distinction between splatter “zones” and maybe yours is just from a darker part of the colony. Or yours morphed a little in your conditions - it does look like the tips of the tentacles have splattering, but the coral appears to be stretching for light so it looks darker

Oh yeah the others have more splattering than that one

Just wanted to check my JF Freak Hair and Splatter Hammer qualify? The freak hair is from TSA, it looks short because the mother colony was losing the fight with a lepastrea.

The blue tort shared widely in the club that we were calling Oregon Tort, but our experts say isn’t, has been renamed BAR Blue Tort and put on the Bonus list. It was shared in the club through this DBTC:

Just wanted to let folks know for the upcoming swap!
