Sorry to hear you had this experience with them. I had a good experience with them for my lowboy lid. Mine was fully custom thought, not one of their standard lids with tweaked dimensions. Did they send you a CAD file for approval beforehand? When they made mine I provided my dimensions and they adjusted them slightly for some reason but they asked for my approval beforehand. Honestly, would’ve fit better with my own dimensions but it worked out in the end. I could see how that opening gap would be an issue though.
