Excited to share I was certified yesterday for open water diving!

Sweet! I am always looking for a diving buddy! I have yet to dive Monterey, but would love to. I only have a 7mm wetsuit, so I might freeze our first time out. My last dive was the blue hole in Belize right before lockdown.

Guys,
Unfortunately, after only 7 years, this 150 gallon tank built by Crystal Dynamic Aquariums started a slow leak on the vertical edge between the front and right side glass panel.

I tried google the company online, and it appears to have been closed permanently. Anybody can confirm this?

Meanwhile, should I shut down the tank immediately? Can this slow leak lead to a catastrophic failure? I don't want the salt water all end up on my floor.

The tank has horizontal glass on the top, about 2 inches wide, to keep the water from splashing out. No center beam.

Yes, CDA is no longer in business.

Strapped.
I will move the livestock to a 20 gallon holding tank and sell quickly. Rest of the setup will likely breakdown and sell over time.
1 yellow tang, 1 colorful wrasse, two cloun fish. Sine easy and simple lps. Lots of alage too :)
If the leak is near the top. And it’s strapped. You can actually use the aquarium as a temp holding tank.
Just keep an eye on the seam.
Keep the water about 2-3” below the leak.

Sorry to see your tank is leaking. I heard CDA closed down due to the owner of their building increased their rent. It’s unfortunate they left a ton of their customers high and dry, but in this case strapped and wet =(
