Do you know if he swam through the weir teeth or jumped over? Does the overflow have a cover? Or is there a gap between the tank cover and weir. Should make sure each options are covered. Lucky jump if he did hurdle over!

I'm assuming he went through the weir teeth. Like you said it would have been an amazing jump to get through the lid and into the overflow. I might just set up a side gig circus act to cut back on my budget build cost lol

I printed the same one and have it on my IM10. Works great at keeping baby seahorses from getting sucked in. With a tiny 20gph pump they still sometimes sucked up against it, but not through.

Or you can use this plastic mesh sheet and some zip ties. I know Michael’s sells them.
