RODI Pressure Booster Pump?

Anyone use something like this? I have a BRS 5 stage 200 GPD RODI. My pressure has always been pretty bad 45-50 but lately we’ve been having some issues with the plumbing which the property manager is taking care of tomorrow hopefully but regardless I’d like to get the pressure up closer to the recommended amount.

Anyone use this? Or another unit that would be compatible with a BRS RODI?

Would you say it was hard to install?
Can you insert tube A into hole B, and make sure tube A is cut square? If yes, then yes. Also it works well screwed to a wall, so being able to work a(n electric) screwdriver is good.

For me, super easy to install.

I picked up a Aquatic Life Smart Buddie booster....great all-in-one setup and increased my psi from 61 to 87! View attachment 66186
Dang I wish I was at 61. The water pressure here has been so bad lately. I guess some pipe in the crawl space was leaking or something like that

Awesome thanks guys! I’m going to get one. It looked a little intimidating. I replaced my membranes today for the first time and I was a little lost lol

FYI...the pump is a bit noisy…at least mine is.

I also have an RODI Smart Buddie. One of the best purchases I made since it increases the water pressure and auto flushes the system for a short period each time it starts up. The flushing extends the life of the RO membrane.

Do you have the one I posted or the RO buddy?

My RODI is under my kitchen sink so a little noise shouldn’t hurt anything. Is it noisy constantly or only when making water?

I was doing a comparison between both and the RO Buddie says that it won’t increase psi for product water, only will increase going into the membrane.

I’m going to pickup one of the Aquatec units. It seems like people with the RO buddie are seeing an increase but are also starting off at double the psi I’m currently at

They are basically the same, one (Aquatic) has all the pieces you need to connect it, you just have to figure out mounting and such. The other (Aquatic Life) has the same part all wrapped up in one complete unit, total plug and play...

The one you posted I've found to be loud as well, especially if you mount it on just sheetrock.

I agree, it is noisy. Especially when mounted, it’s actually a lot quieter when it’s just on the floor. And to answer your earlier question, only when making water.

yes...only when making water. I do have mine mounted on the wall in my garage.
