The thicker version of Weldon 4 is Weldon 16 if you didn’t know.I'm on my way to TAP Plastics and going to use weld on 4 to repair this for functionality
Yea structurally it's not an issue. Just more if an issue of paying $500 for something and receiving it broken.Glad it's resolved! As long as it's just a crack on the baffle it should be fine structurally.
Yea I'm using 16 for the tab and 4 for the crack. For the crack I can pull the external wall away a bit and let it flow down the crack. The thicker version of Weldon 4 is Weldon 16 if you didn’t know.
Man that fiat email had me pissed!!!!! Haha! Then boom! You scored!Yea structurally it's not an issue. Just more if an issue of paying $500 for something and receiving it broken.
Whatever time works for everyone who can help. I'll be home all day prepping stuff for tank setup. What time?
Can you PM me your number please?Saved my trip to AC til tomorrow so I can help if you’ve got the people
Yea. I got 3 right now including myself. Found a 4th but not available til the evening. So still on the lookout for someone during the day.Not bad with 4 people and suction cups really. I can’t tomorrow unfortunately. Good luck!
Move scheduled for 1pm today! I was able to get enough guys to cover the lift! Hopefully wet by next weekend if all goes as planned. I'm still debating making an acrylic tub to fill the bottom of the stand as a backup in case of overflow of the sump but I also don't really think it's necessary as my sump should have plenty of headroom to cover the amount it will raise when pumps are off.
The tank is over carpet so extra precautions would be nice.
I have never had my sump overflow, but have had mishaps with spills from the clean water hose flowing outside the sump during water changes, as well as a spill when refilling a dosing jug. I might be spill prone, but seems wise to protect the whole floor inside the stand.Move scheduled for 1pm today! I was able to get enough guys to cover the lift! That's not a bad idea.I bought a thick plastic table cloth. Layed it in the sump area and taped it to the walls with gorilla tape. Just be careful putting in the sump and whatever not to rip the plastic. It’s been great over 3 plus years.
What silicone are you using to reinstall the center brace? All prepped to silicone the center brace back in. Just waiting for clamps to arrive in the mail so I can close up the gap to the front glass just a hair for better structural integrity.
