Maybe find someone willing to peel/scrape off the zoas or swap rocks. But if you value the rock more than the zoas, maybe do a pest tank with sundial snails, zoa spiders and zoa nudibranchs.

heres some pictures. The rock with all the green zoas.. I kinda want my rock back. Same with the rock with the red zoas. I put a frag with 3 polys of red on that flat rock.. Next thing i know, it took over the entire rock.

The last pic is orange oxides. And looks like they are on a fairly thin flat rock? We could cut the rock with the band saw if you wanted to frag those. The green ones are probably a palythoa and not a zoa and would recommend not bringing those.

His green zoas are probably king Midas zoas. They yellow up in other tanks but are greenish in his.
I had same Palythoa concern but based on the pictures I can't really see them cleary enough to tell difference with full confidence without a clear close up of one.

But the color of polyps don't look like Captian jerks or green nuke palys. Only what I can kinda tell from picture.

Sure, I’ll send a few colonies as I don’t think I can make it to the workshop. Will know more as time approaches but if not can someone close to Fresno meet up w me to bring it with them? If not I can ship it to @Srt4eric? Please LMK? Thanks

I'm down as a big "maybe", would REALLY like to make it but have concert tickets in SF and dinner reservations beforehand...

I've got a stylo mini colony (about softball size) and that we can frag up if we need more pieces for people to be able to practice using the band saw. I've also got a big dead monti skeleton (not as fun but will give the experience of cutting coral skeleton) I've got 2 band saws here (1 gryphon XL and 1 inland).

Depending on where you're from, it may be more convenient to head to SF from here (Castro Valley) I don't mind holding any frags for you that you might collect from the fragging workshop and can bring them to the frag swap for pick up.
