If you bring dead skeletons, might be nice to soak them in water so they feel more realistic. Haven’t participated so idk if you do that already

Won’t be quite the same (slime, coral tissue) but the weight etc will be more similar

We recently helped out a local guy doing a breakdown. Ended up with a rock full of blasto merletti. Possibly blue eyed raven. They are just now recovering from the transition of 48ppt sw to 35 and opening up. Should I bring the rock for us to frag? Maybe a good candidate for chisel and hammer frag session
If you're willing to frag it up, then bring it on by!

I think the timing for this one in early June is tough for a lot of people. Almost everyone is already doing something or covering for people from work who are.

Cutting dead skeleton is really just an exercise for people less experienced with the saw to see how controlled and not scary it can be so they get the feel and become comfortable with it. We've found that a lot of people shy away just because they are 1) scared of the "power equipment" and 2) don't want to risk making a mistake and accidentally killing coral.

Agreed they often over think it. Lol it's far from a butchers blade that you can loose a arm on. Very easy in fact.

Almost like kids safety scissors by comparsion.

I’m always down for beer, though I’m more of a day beer drinker now.

There's a Safeway right across the st from my place too if that makes it easier.
