If you're willing to frag it up, then bring it on by!We recently helped out a local guy doing a breakdown. Ended up with a rock full of blasto merletti. Possibly blue eyed raven. They are just now recovering from the transition of 48ppt sw to 35 and opening up. Should I bring the rock for us to frag? Maybe a good candidate for chisel and hammer frag session
Another saw and table would be great!I’ll be there. I have a couple branches of sps we can chop up. Maybe some Favia.
I have a saw I can bring and a table if needed.
Cutting dead skeleton is really just an exercise for people less experienced with the saw to see how controlled and not scary it can be so they get the feel and become comfortable with it. We've found that a lot of people shy away just because they are 1) scared of the "power equipment" and 2) don't want to risk making a mistake and accidentally killing coral. If you bring dead skeletons, might be nice to soak them in water so they feel more realistic. Haven’t participated so idk if you do that already
Won’t be quite the same (slime, coral tissue) but the weight etc will be more similar
Agreed they often over think it. Lol it's far from a butchers blade that you can loose a arm on. Very easy in fact.Cutting dead skeleton is really just an exercise for people less experienced with the saw to see how controlled and not scary it can be so they get the feel and become comfortable with it. Great. I will bring them.Another saw and table would be great!
