Never again? Then no, the reagent A, inlet and outlet will all be flushed regularly with regular use.
Yeah I don't care about b and c. With a carx, my ca and mg do not drift independently of my alk. All I care about is the alk.

Just be careful reducing the number of tests, if the tubes dry out it is a big pain to clear them and keep things running. My thoughts here are to get the ABC reagents to reduce cost and run the tests the normal amount.
Just changed my schedule to do 2 tests in the middle of the day and skip the midnight test. This will help lessen my alk swing as my CaRx is controlled by the trident.

I don’t recommend having Trident readings in control of real life

I've been doing it like this for a few years now. If my numbers ever look very off I switch to manual until I can fix it.

Question for those of you who hacked your trident. I went through the video and a couple of others to make sure I did it right. Once I click the upload arrrow to load the changes is there anything else I need to do? Do i need to change the trident from "automatic" to "manual"? I noticed if I click on trident schedule it defaults back to the original settings. I had to go back in and rehack the settings.

Leave it on Automatic but don’t go back and select one of the stock schedules. Manual means it’s not running except when you tell it to.

It’s working for you so that’s great and the bottom line.

In my opinion, someone doing this has to choose between letting it change the dose only a little (in which case it’s probably not doing anything of value), or letting it change it a lot (in which case it’s too risky). Either way it’s always giving the dose the tank needed before the last test rather than what it needs now.

I like the sweet spot of letting it change enough to make a difference, but not so much it can crash.

So, the way I have mine controlled, the CaRx peristaltic pump and CO2 are only allowed to be on during the lighting period. But my apex will turn off both if the dkH is over 8.
